Sharing the passion
Enabling viewers, through photography, to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Denise Parent's interest in photography began as a result of her work with CUSO in the South Pacific.
The repetition of the patterns we see everywhere, both in natural and manufactured objects, plays upon her imagination and her camera lens. A theme emphasized in Denise's work is the complexity and simplicity of these subjects and the recognition that mankind cannot create something that does not already exist in nature. Her goal is to enable people to see ordinary objects in a different light, to take the time to notice their simple beauty and patterns that they create, a beauty that surrounds us all.
